if ohio state can't score off their defense they have to do it in the halfcourt and that is not what they do well. >> doug: the basic adjustment that wisconsin makes offensively as opposed to when ohio state almost beat michigan is that wisconsin goes under every screen, packs in the defense and makes you make jump shots, especially ohio state. they're 0-6 in the first half and they have a paucity of scorers outside deshaun thomas. this is how you play against ohio state. if you're going to play wisconsin, you have to play at their pace. let's get you right to the scoreboard starting with big ten action. michigan-penn state. penn state only b.c.s. program without a win in conference play. walk in the park, right? >> seth: you would think for michigan how they have been struggling, they lose three of the last four, got embarrassed at michigan state, got a winless team in your conference, on your own home floor, beat them by 20 or 30, if you feel like you're a national championship contender, not competing with a lot of energy, starting to pull away, tim hardaway with a pretty reversal.

last spot. gonzaga has two losses. one at home. much weaker schedule. florida has three losses including a bad one at arkansas. keep in mind, duke gets miami in cameron on march 2nd. if they win that game, duke will be a number one seed. >> doug: they shouldn't be a number one seed. their top six wins were december 8 or previously. the top five wins all in the month of november. >> seth: they still kouvenlt >> doug: they don't count if you don't have ryan kelly, you lose to maryland and maryland didn't have pe'shon howard, their starting point guard. >> seth: duke blown out at arkansas, better than losinga the miami. >> doug: a nine-point game at the end of the game. >> seth: a blowout. >> doug: 27 points is a blowout. >> seth: duke beats miami at home and does well enough in the a.c.c. tournament they're not a number one seed? >> doug: i'm willing to say there is a possibility but it's not like florida still doesn't have the opportunity to go in to missouri a team they've blown out and beat them, a team like michigan i don't think is of the will caber of the other one

seed, we have miami, michigan state as well as indiana as our one seed. >> seth: michigan right now. >> doug: it's they have michigan state and indiana at home. if they win those games, they win out, they could be a one seed as well, why not the zags 9-1 in true road games. looking at the bubble. that's what everyone wants to know. who is in, who is out. we have north carolina in. >> seth: yes, we do. >> doug: we have kentucky out. >> seth: not barely. >> doug: nova. >> seth: nova i have in. let's look at the three bubble teams. this is where you and i disagree and you know how much i hate to disagree with you, doug. i don't think they have road victories in the top 22nd. st. mary's i think had a golden opportunity which they blew this week by not beating gonzaga. if they don't beat creighton, i don't think st. mary's is getting in. i think villanova for the time being put themselves on the inside looking out. a road win at uconn. for a bubble team, that's huge. >> doug: let's start with iowa state. yes, a paucity of road wins but

you told me close road losses are just like wins, should have beaten kansas, should have beaten oklahoma state. i think they'll get one if not two of those. st. mary's, second best team in the wcc, st. mary's will get in, and i think nova is more likely to be the team that lost five of seven inside that syracuse-louisville two wins than they are the win over uconn going back to yesterday. give me one team america should watch out for that's not currently on the bubble that will climb into the bubble. >> seth: the red storm of st. john's. their problem once again not doing enough away from home. they've got at providence and at notre dame left to go. can they win one of those? can they beat pittsburgh or marquette at home? if so, i think they get in. they won at cincinnati. for a bubble team that's big. >> doug: watch out are for boise state. road win over creighton. close loss to michigan state. i know that doesn't count as a win. colorado state at home. they have san diego state at home and they have winnable road
